TEDxKabul celebrated the stories, ideas, and innovations of Afghans effecting positive change in their communities. By bringing together Afghan change-makers, artists, and innovators, we hoped to showcase the true, and often forgotten, character of Kabul: a city that is innovative, entrepreneurial, and forward-looking.
Through our events we showcased a city, a country, and a people beyond the narrow confines of war.
TEDxKabul will foster the spread and application of great ideas. Imagine Kabul & Afghanistan’s most fascinating and engaging speakers coming together for one day to share their passion and discuss their visions for the world. Afghanistan is full of life changing stories, extraordinary ideas, and remarkable people and TEDxKabul looks forward to showcasing this brilliance and enabling these great ideas to be put into action.TEDxKabul provided a platform for the brightest minds to be inspired and to inspire others.We committed ourselves to creating events where participants are challenged to communicate their passions in an exciting and engaging dialogue. At TEDxKabul speakers give the best talk of their lives and then will have the opportunity to discuss their ideas.
